Why walk with us

Less itinerary. More instinct.

Our skippers don't read scripts. They read the wind, the gulls, the bend of the marram grass. Every walk is shaped by what the day is offering — sometimes a clear horizon, sometimes a mist that turns the cliffs into pencil sketches.

  • Small groups. Never more than ten walkers. Often just six.
  • Local skippers. Born here, retired from the boats, generous with stories.
  • Real hospitality. Tea, oatcakes, and a warm room if the rain comes in sideways.
  • Quiet routes. We avoid the postcard spots. The real coast is just around the corner.

Walkers' voices

What people remember.

"We came expecting a nice walk. We left feeling like we'd been let in on a secret. The skipper knew every cove by the colour of its stones."

Marianne L.Edinburgh

"The lantern trail at dusk was the most quietly magical hour I've had on holiday in years. No rush. Just the harbour, the stories, the sea."

Thomas R.Bruges

"Our kids still talk about the rockpools and the little adventure log. Six months later. That tells you everything."
