1. About these terms
These terms apply to all bookings made with joyskippertrail.icu ("Joy Skipper Trail", "we", "us"). By booking a walk or experience, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any guests you book for.
2. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed once full or part-payment has been received and you have been issued a confirmation email. All bookings are subject to availability and skipper assignment.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed for private groups.
4. Cancellations by you
Cancellations more than 48 hours before the walk: full refund minus a small £5 administration fee. Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% refund. No-shows: no refund. We are always glad to reschedule where possible.
5. Cancellations by us
If we cancel a walk for safety or operational reasons, you will be offered a full refund or a free reschedule. We are not liable for any consequential travel or accommodation costs.
6. Safety and conduct
You agree to follow your skipper's instructions at all times and to behave in a way that does not endanger yourself, other walkers, or wildlife. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving unsafely or disrespectfully to leave the walk without refund.
7. Health and fitness
You confirm that you are fit enough for the walk you have booked and have informed us of any relevant medical conditions. If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.
8. Liability
Joy Skipper Trail carries full public liability insurance. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, tides, illness, or third-party action.
9. Photography
We occasionally photograph walks for our website and printed materials. If you'd prefer not to appear, please let your skipper know at the start of the walk.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
